Hatton Garden is London’s Jewellery Quarter and UK’s Diamond Centre.
The area in the City of London has a lively history. During the 19th century the gold and platinum business developed and the trade in diamonds expanded significantly. The old City of London had certain streets dedicated to various businesses. Since the 1870′s the Hatton Garden area has established its international reputation as London’s Jewellery Quarter.
In the area there are more than 1500 of Britain’s finest jewellers, craftspeople and designers. All in all over 75 shops represent the largest cluster of jewellery retail in the UK.
